Therapy for Recovery

My friend is undergoing physical therapy right now for a jaw injury. She was kicked by a horse and had to undergo numerous surgeries. Now, with the help of a physical therapist, she is learning to talk and chew without straining her newly healed jaw. It’s difficult for her, but the physical therapist is giving her exercises she can practice at home and is supporting her throughout the entire process.

Without physical therapy, many people would not be able to recover from serious injuries and ailments. Physical therapy helps improve overall health while also allowing people to focus on a positive goal. Physical therapy often involves stretching exercises, muscle-building exercises, and balance and coordination exercises.
